An exhibition of Seoks Art Project, an artist-in-residence program, which was held in the seoks market in Korea. This district is one of the places to be redeveloped. Giving a consideration to what the place could be like after the redevelopment. I paid an attention to a sense of déjà vu and incongruity I feel in the scene after redevelopment in Korea. The surface of the scene to be repeated from now on, as if there were no reality and it were brought from somewhere and just put there, makes me paralyzed and confused; ‘Am I in Korea or not?’ It also hints the place, which is somewhere unidentified but definitely exists in the world. What have we been surrounded by? This work is an approach to our ordinary daily scene and to the strength itself of unconscious vagueness which the world consists of.
